Lost premiered in 2004. The story began just after a mysterious and bloody airplane crash, with 48 survivors left stranded on a mysterious island in the Pacific. It soon becomes apparent that they will not have to cope only with the forces of nature, but with the island’s secrets, including the Dharma Initiative, the Lost Numbers, the others – or hostiles – and a strange black smoke, among other things.
